Dancing my way out of one of the hardest years of my life. 🐍✨
This year broke me open.
And then it asked me to rebuild myself from the inside out.

I shed entire skins — friendships, family dynamics, identities, roles, expectations, and a version of myself that could no longer carry what I’m meant to create next.

I retired from my former business.
I lost people I never imagined losing.
I developed vertigo that turned my world upside down.
I discovered mold in my home.
I went by ambulance to the hospital during the worst vertigo episode of my life.

The last four months?
Multiple treatments a week to detox and heal from mold exposure.
Unable to work.
My entire house under reconstruction.
My nervous system asking for everything to slow… way down.

There were days I didn’t recognize myself.
And nights I wondered how much more I could release.

But here’s what this year gave me:

✨ Radical self-trust
✨ A stronger, quieter nervous system
✨ Boundaries that are no longer negotiable
✨ A deeper relationship with my body, intuition, and truth
✨ Clarity about what — and who — is coming with me forward
✨ A creative fire that couldn’t be extinguished, even when I was forced to rest

Snakes don’t apologize for shedding.
They don’t cling to what’s tight, outdated, or painful.
They release… and keep moving.

So tonight, I dance.
Not because it was easy — but because I made it through.

2025, I’m releasing you with gratitude and no attachment.
2026… I’m coming in clear, grounded, powerful, and ready.

Listening Tree is coming back stronger and deeper.
Hired Creative is evolving in bold new ways.

And quietly… something new is being born.
A long-held vision.

Sitting with It All...LA

I’ve been quiet for a while. Not because I don’t have things to say, but because sometimes, the weight of life asks us to sit with it before we speak.

The end of 2024 was heavy. I had high hopes for the start of 2025, but if I’m honest, it hasn’t begun the way I wanted it to. It feels like I’ve been walking through fog—uncertain, restless, searching. So many transitions all at once from the work that I do, my clients, friendships, political landscape, the weather, even considering where I live and what`s next - what is my soul calling for?

At the start of each year, I pull an oracle card as a guiding message for the months ahead. This year, my card was "Pause – Say No," with storm clouds in the background. Not the bright, uplifting message I usually receive—no soaring birds, no golden sunrises, just a stark reminder to stop, to sit, to not push forward just yet. I’ve really had to sit with that.

And as I sat, I watched parts of LA—the places that have meant everything to me—Malibu, Pacific Palisades, the Hollywood Hills—burn. The fires took pieces of my most sacred spaces, turning them to ash, mirroring an inner destruction I wasn’t ready to face.

LA has always held me through transitions- my escape and happy place I`ve been going to for 30 years to fill my cup. I’ve spent years here creating, healing, and witnessing the way this city breathes in stories and exhales resilience. And now, as I sit in this space between what was and what’s next, I remind myself: Pauses are sacred, too.

If you’re feeling the weight of it all right now, I see you. If your new year doesn’t feel bright and full of possibility just yet, I see you. And if you’re still finding your way, know this: The light always returns. ✨
